Admission Information

Membership & Eligibility 
SIFAS is a society of members. Each student must become a member of the SIFAS society (if over 18 years of age) in order to enrol in the Academy. The membership is a family membership and extends to the member's spouse and children below the age of 18. 

Minimum Age of Enrolment
Members’ children aged 6 may enroll for the Dance/Music/ Visual Arts preparatory classes. However they are not eligible to register for the 1st year examination until they are 8 years old.

Assessment of mid-stream students
Students joining the Academy from another institution are required to meet with the discipline tutors, who will assess the student and determine the year of admission.

Withdrawal or Discontinuation Notice
A student who needs to withdraw or discontinue a class must give a one-month notice.  The notice must be given at the beginning of the month before the end of the first week. Full fees for the month will need to be paid for late withdrawal notice.
Students are allowed, on a case by case basis, to withdraw for more than 3 months for exams ie O levels, A Levels, PSLE, IB and under special circumstances.

Fees 

Financial Assistance
SIFAS provides financial assistance to Singapore Citizens and PR students who are fiscally tested so that they are not deprived of access to training in the Indian fine arts and the experience of a rich culture. A tiered bursary scheme is available according to the family income. 
The bursary and scholarship schemes are open to all races. For more information, pleas contact the Principal at 62995929.
